In My Dreams by Cameo Renae
Review by Jen
Amazing heart pounding 5 STARS!!

This book had me from beginning to end! I couldn’t put it down! It starts with Lizzy, who’s had a rough childhood, lives alone but has the greatest boyfriend ever, Michael. She’s waiting for him to pick her up for a date! Now, u know when you know something’s not right & you’re just waiting….yeah! That happened! For a few chapters! I was about standing on my head with anticipation! Then it happened!! Tragedy strikes!!! The weird thing is Lizzy knew! How?? She has this “gift” of dreaming things & them happening! So throughout the book she spends a lot of time dreaming trying to figure out what happened with Michael!! In that process, she has several encounters with the bad man whom I could’ve killed myself with my bare hands!! One part I was reading late at night, with him chasing her! I had to stop & look around bc I was scared!! I felt like I was there! Now that’s brilliant writing!! So many ups & downs! So many mixed emotions through out: happy, sad, anxious, love, passion, courage, anger, determination!! Throughout the book it’s a battle between good & evil from beginning till the last page!! Micheal is a dream of a man that any woman would be proud to have! With tears in my eyes I was sad to see the book end!! Amazing job Cameo Renae!

It was happening again. The dreams. The nightmares. It was something that seventeen year-old Elizabeth Hayes thought she’d outgrown; dreams that would come true; detailed premonitions of how people would die. This time she dreams about her boyfriend, Michael Young, and soon discovers that he has been found… dead.
He has not crossed over because he was murdered, and now the murderer is after Lizzy. His spirit won’t rest until she is safe. As a newbie spirit, the easiest way for him to make contact is through Lizzy’s dreams. When she dreams, it’s as if he hasn’t died.
Lizzy must learn to pull on her inner strength to survive horrifying events, and is faced with a most difficult decision. Would she risk her life to save her best friend and the very person responsible for Michael’s death?
Meanwhile, Michael learns everything he can about his supernatural gifts to help. But will it be enough to save her?
