Review by Tina:
4 Awesome stars!!

I received an ARC copy of Permanent Lines. I’m giving this book 4 stars, When I first started reading I was amazed at how much the F word was used. Don’t get me wrong I have no problem with cursing in any book I read, but I just find in the first half of the book it was used a lot.

Merrick Drake, has a love for dirt bike racing & he’s good at it. He also owns a bar. He’s built & has tats a real good looking man & has no intentions of settling down any time soon. He pretty much has his life together. Then during a motor cross he meets Amelia beautiful, sweet & she also loves dirt bike racing. They hit it off & hangout at his bar with friends & they spend the night & the next day just being together. Then she’s leaves he doesn’t see or hear from her in months. No phone calls, no text it’s like she vanished as if she never existed. Then one night on a double date there she is standing in front of him. As their eyes connect he gets up and walks out. He’s so confused & hurt he feels bad that he left but he just doesn’t understand, so later that night he goes to talk to her. She tries to tell him he can’t be there and that she will meet him later. They meet & then all the drama unfolds she’s into deep & want’s out of the relationship she is in but she can’t just leave. You just don’t get up & walk away from the mob.

I honestly liked this book, It had a little bit of drama, suspense, & showed how far someone will go to be with the person that captured his heart from the moment they met. It was a different kind of book for me & the first one from by Ashley Wilcox, I’m glad I had the opportunity to read it. I look forward to reading more from Ashley Wilcox.
